Certificate / Diploma of Investor Relations

Certificate of Investor Relations - Online Learning
AIRA's Certificate of Investor Relations is derived from the seven course modules delivered throughout Day 1 of AIRA's Diploma course.

The seven modules of this course are:

Module 1: Introduction to the Practice of Investor Relations
Module 2: Introduction to Continuous Disclosure and Listing Rules
Module 3: Introduction to Capital Markets
Module 4 & 5:Beneficial Ownership and Strategic Shareholder Targeting
Module 6: The Language of the Capital Markets
Module 7: Developing a Strategic Investor Relations Program

On completion of all modules students may elect to sit an online exam. On passing this exam a Certificate of Investor Relations is awarded by the Australasian Investor Relations Association and may use CertInvRel post-nominals.

Investor Relations Advanced Professional Development Courses

AIRA Advanced Online Learning Modules
This Program includes three courses which are pre-requisites for AIRA's Certified Investor Relations Officer professional designation.

On completing these three courses and having fulfilled all other elements of the program, applicants are able to enrol to sit a one-hour online exam. On passing the exam they will be awarded with a CIRO (AIRA) professional designation.

The courses have been developed based on priority areas for IRO's as follows:

1. ESG Advanced 2 | Beyond Compliance to Value Creation (please note, ESG Course 1: Introduction to ESG is assumed knowledge)

2. Continuous Disclosure Advanced 2 | The Implications of Trigger Points for Continuous Disclosure (please note, Continuous Disclosure Course 1: Listing Rules and Continuous Disclosure or the compliance module in AIRA's Diploma of Investor Relations are assumed knowledge)

3. Ethics Advanced 2 | Ethical Leadership in the Practice of Investor Relations (please note, Ethics Course 1: Ethical Considerations in the Practice of Investor Relations is assumed knowledge)

Advanced Investor Relations Professional Development | ESG
AIRA's ESG Advanced Course 2, Beyond Compliance to Value Creation is to overview the strategic ESG issues facing companies.

Please note, there is an expectation that course participants have completed AIRA's ESG Course or AIRA's on demand ESG Course 1: An Introduction to ESG.

The course can be undertaken as a course in its own right or as part of a broader course that forms parts of AIRA's Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) Program.

Advanced IR Professional Development | Continuous Disclosure
AIRA's Advanced IR Professional Development Course on Continuous Disclosure focuses on disclosure trigger points such that companies understand the appropriate time to disclose information to the ASX / NZX and the implications of disclosing too early or late.

Please note, there is an expectation that course participants have completed the Listing Rules and Continuous Disclosure module in AIRA's Diploma of Investor Relations or the Introduction to Continuous Disclosure course available online before this course.

The course can be undertaken as a course in its own right or as part of a broader course that forms parts of AIRA's Certified Investor Relations Officer (CIRO) Program.
