2019 Best Practice Investor Relations Awards Winner Announced

The winners of the 2019 Australasian Investor Relations Awards were announced last night at the Annual AIRA Best Practice Investor Relations Awards & Gala Dinner.
The Australasian Investor Relations Awards recognise listed entities that have excelled in Investor Relations over the year.

Awards are voted on by domestic and international equities analysts and fund managers.  MarketMeter, an independent, interactive market insights firm, conducted the research on AIRA’s behalf which has enabled more time, resources and technology to be dedicated to the data gathering process.   This has ensured a deep data sample with strong buy-side participation representing around 25,000 data points used to determine awards winners.

AIRA CEO, Ian Matheson said, “providing best practice investor relations (IR) is what listed entities, investors and stakeholders require and it is what the true IR professionals strive for. Investor relations is stepping up, flexing its strategic muscles and reinforcing an integral position. Teams are growing and engaging more than ever with the market, ESG focus continues to increase, and providing best practice IR is not a goal it’s a strategically planned and executed function for any listed entity. The Best Practice IR Awards provide acknowledgement from the market of the companies who are providing the best IR in the business, and we would like to congratulate them all.”

In addition to the listed entities awards AIRA’s has four sell-side awards, to recognise corporate access and sales teams within investment banks and stockbroking firms who assist companies’ access and connect with investors around the world. These award winners were determined based on voting from investor relations professionals from listed-entities.

The Award winners are listed on the following page.
