Viva Energy REIT is Australia’s largest listed REIT owning solely service station properties with a high quality portfolio of service stations across all Australian States and Territories. Viva Energy REIT’s objective is to maximise the long-term income and capital returns from its ownership of the portfolio for the benefit of all security holders. The portfolio at the 31st December 2017 consisted of 438 properties for a total value of $2.28bn.


Reporting directly to the CEO, this role is pivotal in providing the external engagement for Viva Energy REIT with stakeholders, investors and the public. The incumbent is responsible for facilitating the company’s investor relations processes, investor engagement and communications, and holding primary responsibility for ensuring that all aspects of the external engagement of Viva Energy REIT is suitably managed and compliant.


Investor Engagement

  • Principal focal point for engagement with coverage equity analysts (4 currently), including feedback on models and assumptions.
  • Principal focal point for institutional investors, brokers and potential investors, including through one-on-one and face-to-face meetings. Includes provision of investor feedback in a timely and succinct manner to the Board.
  • Responsible for the arrangement of investor days, relevant conferences and participation in industry forums.


  • Responsible for the preparation of all results materials and presentation packs, including liaison with the Board for formal approvals
  • Preparation of all materials for the AGM, facilitation and arrangement of the AGM including working with the Board, Management and individual directors.
  • Preparation of all ASX announcements including management and board sign off.
  • Accountable for the content of the VVR website, including visual identity, updating for announcements, policy and other documents amendments as required.

Investor and Registry Analysis

  • Working with the Registry Provider, undertake monthly review of changes in the registry and report to the Board and Management
  • Making recommendations to the Board and Management of the strategic changes to the register including specific focus on retail investors.
  • Providing feedback to the Board on any movements in the register and being key focal point for the registry provider.


Experience in a similar role in a large listed corporate you will understand the opportunities that accompany a REIT of this scale. You will have a background in Business, Finance or Marketing, be a self-starter and have the ability to confidently deal with senior corporate staff, the Board and investors with ease, have developed communications and analytical skills and be practical and hands on.  The role provides and exciting opportunity for an individual with the intellect, stature, judgement and independence of thought to inspire confidence at the highest levels within Viva Energy REIT, as well as within the external market.
