ABOUT THE ROLE

To contribute to the success of ERM Power by developing, implementing and regularly reviewing a strategic investor relations program that supports development of the company’s relationship with the investor community. This role within the Corporate Affairs team is responsible for clear, accurate, credible and consistent communication to key external stakeholders including retail and institutional shareholders, sell-side analysts, and potential investors.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop, implement and manage plans and policies for the investor relations function;
  • Coordinate external communications and investor relations activities, ensuring consistency and alignment with the company’s vision;
  • Ensure the timeliness, accuracy, consistency and alignment of key corporate messages and initiatives across communications activities;
  • Support the provision of advice to the executive team on investor matters and business and industry developments;
  • Draft ASX announcements and media releases, presentations, Q&A and other supporting materials for half year and full-year results;
  • Coordinate investor and analyst conference calls and roadshows;
  • Manage analyst and investor relationships by coordinating investor conferences, roadshows and site visits, maintaining the analyst and investor database, providing Board updates on investor matters and monitoring consensus on ERM Power earnings forecasts;
  • Undertake analysis of ERM Power’s performance relative to market and indices;
  • Draft ASX continuous disclosure statements e.g. new contracts, M&A, earning updates etc.;
  • Draft content for Annual Report, other corporate publications and website;
  • Draft Chairman’s and Managing Director’s speeches and/or presentations for the Annual General Meeting;
  • Maintain Investor Centre pages on the company’s website and coordinate content approval process for website changes; and
  • Participate in organisational strategic planning and risk management initiatives to ensure communications strategy is aligned with organisational goals.


PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum five years investor relations experience, preferably within the energy, power or resources sectors;
  • Excellent written and oral communication, facilitation and negotiation skills;
  • Strong grasp and comprehension of key financial, strategic and operational information, and ability to effectively communicate this meaningfully at a variety of levels;
  • Good understanding and knowledge of investment markets and their participants;
  • Excellent organisational, analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Highly flexible and able to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment; and
  • Highly creative, innovative and achievement oriented.
