Event description:

This online, step-by-step learning program allows you to work through at your own pace. It acts as a kind of mentor to encourage you to gain essential knowledge of business writing and grammar. With useful study notes, quizzes and stories, you will always feel supported...plus we'll ensure it's not dry and boring!

Delivered through two different modules:

Business Writing takes you through five steps that apply to every kind of writing you do, and then helps you to apply them. There are 10 modules which we will send you over 10 weeks. You assess your own skills at the beginning and end to see how much you have applied.

Business Grammar covers the foundation knowledge you need to write confidently and consistently. You can choose to access the nine modules once a week, like Business Writing, or just use them as you need them to refresh your grammar knowledge and spelling.

Each module gives you step-by-step resources, knowledge sharing (via our monthly newsletter, LinkedIn and Twitter profiles) and online support.

Our five steps for reader centred writing will help you to quickly...

  • Set a clear purpose and think about your purpose
  • Know your readers and identify their different interests
  • Gather your content and do some preparation
  • Draft your message to get the action you want
  • Edit for impact -review before you send
