Event description:

AIRA’s Investor Relations for Support Staff is a practical one-day training course for individuals in support roles who need an understanding of:

  • The key objectives of the investor relations function
  • The regulatory environment that drives the practice of investor relations within Australasian listed entities
  • Capital markets and the importance of building strong relationships between listed entities, broking analysts and fund managers
  • Effectively developing and executing key investor relations events and communications materials
  • Effective use of technologies that assist listed entities in executing their IR programs.

A trained executive assistant and/or investor relations co-ordinator can add significant value to the investor relations function and other senior executives within a listed entity. Make sure your team are all trained industry professionals.


The course is designed for individuals in support roles who have interactions with broking analysts, fund managers and / or the media including: EA, Team Assistant to the IR Function, IR Co-ordinator, EA to CEO and EA to CFO.

  • Preparing for Investor Relations events - results, AGM, investor day, roadshows
  • Preparing communication materials - results, AGM, market updates, annual reports

3.00 – 3.30pm Effective use of Investor Relations webcasts
3.30 – 3.45pm Afternoon tea
