AIRA Benchmarking Survey | Post Results Reporting Practices

AIRA Benchmarking Survey | Post Results Reporting Practices
Since 2002, the Australasian Investor Relations Association (AIRA) has been conducting a biennial benchmarking study to gauge the sentiments of listed entities regarding investor relations (IR) practices, preferences, and trends.

For the first time since undertaking this research, AIRA has adopted a modular approach, breaking down what was previously a comprehensive survey into more manageable segments. The initial module, carried out in October 2023, centered on Post-Results Practices among Australian and New Zealand Listed Entities.
This study's findings offer valuable insights for companies looking to assess and enhance their post-results reporting practices, covering areas such as:

Company Reporting and Results Briefings
Broker Lunches
Domestic and Offshore Roadshows
Broker Conferences, and
Other Meetings, Briefings and Management Time.
The results of this survey are provided in an interactive dashboard that allows members to filter results by market-cap bands. Please note, where there is not an ability to filter the results or where a particular market-cap band is not displayed, there was insufficient data received to provide results on an aggregated basis.

Investor Relations professionals from ASX and NZX companies, representing all industry sectors, were invited to participate in our online questionnaire. Eighty-two responses were received, representing companies listed on the Australian and New Zealand Securities Exchanges.

The strong response rate means readers of this report can be confident the findings are representative of the broader IR profession in both countries.
